In the video above this dude gets "Rodney King'ed" by the NYPD...

This is complete abuse of power, and unjustifiable... what sickens me the most is the one pig just standing there who could have stepped in to deal with the excessive force of the officer. The officer that is on the ground with the dude also could have prevented the abuse.

Now many pigs are posting on message boards, and elsewhere about this video claiming that the use of force was necessary or justified. Now I do not know about you, but if I was the guy getting my ass beat with a baton it would be rather difficult to roll onto my stomach and put my hands behind my back. My one and only concern at that moment would be survival, and attempting to lessen the impact of the pain inflicted by the blows of the baton, which is what I see in the video. The man seems that he is not trying to fight with the officers, but his survival instincts kicked in, and he is attempting to keep from being hit, or at least lessen the pain inflicted from the baton.

So we see how the pigs operate... and while it would be nice to see justice done to this officer by another piece of hardware on his police belt, just understand when dealing with pigs face to face try to be as professional and respectful as possible. Not every interaction with the police is on video tape some where. Most Police interactions that are video tapped are done by the police, so it can not be used as evidence to prove your case (you don't think that if the cops filmed this that the tape would not have disappeared somewhere?) With out this video the man being beaten senseless by the police was facing a 15 year jail sentence for assaulting an officer, now hopefully he will settle a nice lawsuit with the city (hopefully not where the city gets away with not having to admit to any wrong doing)

I can not believe this. A 3 year old wanders out of the home in the middle of the night, then is found dead 1/2 a mile away frozen to death. And the police claim that no foul play was involved!!

How does a 3 year old child climb out of there crib, open the bedroom door, walk through the entire house to the front door, unlock the door and open it, then open the screen door, and go for a 1/2 mile walk.... in the darkness of the night??

None of this makes sense, yet the parents claim the child got out and wandered once before, but was found after a short search. If this is the case that the child had gotten out once before, then better precautions should have been taken.

I for one can not believe that the child exited the crib with out problem, and with out making lots of noise, or injuring itself. I also can not believe that a 3 year old can reach the door knob, yet alone have the strength to turn the dead bolt, or unlock and open the door. I also can not believe that the child would venture out into the freezing cold when there was heat on in the home. And Finally, I can not believe that freezing, in only a diaper and t-shirt, the infant was able to travel for 1/2 a mile. That is a rather far distance to cover, especially by such a young child. (aprox. equal to 10 city blocks)

Salary cap for government hand outs

I completely disagree with the government giving hand outs to corporations. If you mismanaged your business, and are in a poor financial situation, it is your own businesses fault. With that said, I think that it is the responsible thing to do is to require CEOs to cut there own pay to find money for there corporations before going to the government for a hand out. I think that $500,000 is a reasonable cut off for a CEO salary if he wants to accept a government hand out with all of our tax money. Shit, it is 10 times more than the average middle class worker's salary, and 20 times more than what many American workers make. I do not see how someone could not afford to live rather nicely for that much money. I really do not see the need for a salary above that, especially if you are claiming you are broke, and your company needs money.

Also bonuses are supposed to be distributed based on a companies performance, they should not be automatic. If a company is doing poorly, there should be no bonuses, and bail out funds should never fund a bonus. If you need a bail-out, then there is no reason for you to have bonuses, as your company finances are in trouble, and you are not likely making money.

The linked article is full of shit, complaining that the $500,000 salary cap is going to cause problems because 12% of tax dollars comes from wall street, and that they should be able to make whatever and still collect tax payers bail out funds.

People must not realise that this bail out money has to come from somewhere, its not like they just created it from no where, it is tax payers money. Granted, they likely just printed some new money off, or just invented more money, but that in turn is going to have an effect on the currency in circulation. It will dramaticllay reduce the value of the money that is in circulation. Be on the look out for huge inflation in the near future, while wages continue to decline.

I have seen first hand how racist cops in NY can be. As a juvenile when they took a rubber band gun from me that was in my waist band, they said something to the effect "what if one of these monkeys saw you with that and thought it was real." And another time while I was at the 63 prescient as a juvenile for expressing my first amendment rights of saying "fuck the police" while flipping the bird to the cops, I heard a bitch pig discussing her evening plans that she was going to some Chinese reggae place to "...see a bunch of chinks dance around like niggers." Then there was this one Chinese cop, who me and my friend became friendly with. He rode alone in a car that was unsafe. Broken tail light, and many other mechanical problems. He said if just one more thing was wrong with the car, they would take it off the road for good. I doubt the white cop would be driving that car.

These are just some of my first hand experiences with the racism of the NYPD. Luckily I am white, and have not been on the receiving end of there racism. I feel sorry for those of you who are, and who have witnessed this first hand.

Good to see that not only did the city have to pay out $150,000, but that the responsible officer had to pay out $3,000 to each of the 3 accusers out of his pocket. I think though that the 3 officers will have difficulties in there career in the future, and doubt the $60,000 two of them got, or $30,000 the other got is worth the grief that they are to face in there remaining years with the PD.

Another thing is with all of these settlements no one has to admit to any wrong doing. If I was to ever be in the position where I had to sue someone, I would not ever want to accept any agreement where the responsible party did not have to accept responsibility for there actions. I would fight until an admission of guilt was publicly made.

23,000 people is a small city of people. What you are doing is going to turn people away from wanting to live, work and spend money in this city.

More than ever government workers are needed during economic crisis. We do not need less of anything! We need to maintain, or increase teaching staff, people need to be educated. The economy will eventually recover, and it be better that people get there education while in these bad times, then turn to other ways to occupy there time.

While the police can suck my ass, when times get bad crime rates have the potential to increase. While I do not think that there should be more police presence, or random searches, a solid police force, which respects the rights of the citizens is needed to maintain some sense of order. More so for overseeing that chaos does not break out, then to increase the caseload of the unjust court system.

Fire fighters are also very important in these times, as people at there breaking point may be more likely to torch there home or business for insurance fraud. People who still need to commute but can not longer afford there insurance may still continue to drive with out insurance, and when this happens, the likely hood of them stopping if in an accident is reduced, and the potential for additional injuries, or casualties increases. So they are also needed as first responders for these situations.

Sanitation workers are needed to maintain the cleanliness of the city. Lack of a functional sanitation department can lead to the spread of bacteria, and diseases. Street sweepers can however be scaled back, there are plenty of areas in the city where there is no alternate side parking, and the home owners are responsible for keeping the curb clean. This can be expanded, so that street sweepers are only used on major commercial roadways. This can save some money.

Medical staff should not be reduced either. With financial hardships comes the potential for additional spread of diseases, or illness. People may smoke more to calm there nerves, or relieve stress, causing an increase in smoking related illness. People may feel the need to prostitute them self to make ends meet, increasing the potential of STDs. People will not have sufficient funds for prevention, medication, etc. and will end up in hospitals with escalated needs.

Shit, I could keep going on in each section why we need not cut back. Oh, but here is somewhere that we can cut the fat. The MTA. Do we really need a subway train every 5 minutes or less on every single train line? Do we really need buses in Manhattan when there is a subway stop every block or two? I would love to do away with all busses, but I know that is not going to happen, but there are plenty of busses that are practicllay empty from the start of the route to the last stop.

Some people still don't get it. People are still putting the full blame of the economy on the banking and mortgage industries. While they do have a major impact on the economy, the whole outsourcing, and free trade shit is what began the collapse of the economy.

I am sickened how the person who wrote the article continues to refer to "BUY AMERICAN" as "protectionism" and not patriotism, as it should be referred. We should take pride in the quality products and services that are available in our country. Products and services that are made, and performed within our boarders provide Americans with jobs. The more Americans who have jobs, the better it is for the economy.

I am sickened by seeing Toyota Prius'es being purchaced by government agencies. All government vehicles should always be made in America. What is even more sickening is American car companies making there cars in other countries. Many Fords, or GMs are made in Canada or Mexico. This is taking jobs away from Americans.

Look, there will always be the need to import and export raw materials and goods, but whenever and whereever possible we should look domesticllay before going outside of our country. Our labor laws are stronger, and our employees make living wage (in most cases). Our products quality are superior then products that are mass produced in third world countries, where the weekly, or monthly salary barely is what an hour of wages in the US is.

BUYING AMERICAN is the right thing, and patriotic thing to do, and more people should take a lesson from our elders, and those before us.

A woman who helped run the prostitution ring that brought down former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer has been sentenced to six months in prison.

Cecil Suwal was sentenced Thursday by a federal judge in Manhattan.

Prosecutors had asked the judge to give the young madam around two years in prison for her role in managing the Emperors Club VIP escort service.

Her lawyer says she deserved leniency. The defense says she got involved in the business through a much older boyfriend who psychologically dominated her.

Suwal had pleaded guilty last spring to charges involving money laundering and promoting prostitution.

So the madam gets 6 months in jail, while Spitzer gets NO criminal charges. And he is not even required to register as a sex offender. He is one of the people who fought for stricter sex offender laws, and patronizing of a prostitute is a registrable sexual offense in the state of New York. So why is he allowed to walk free, with the only punishment him losing his public office, while this woman is forced to spend six months of her life behind the bars of a jail cell?

I know there are laws that should cover most of those reasons.

Cutting the salt content by 50% will also reduce the amount of salt purchased by these industries by 50% saving them money! The reason that the salt content is at the level that it is at, because that is what the public wants. That is what gives the food the taste that people come back for more. There are sodium free alternatives for those who wish to limit the amount of there salt intake, so people have a choice. People are not restricted to only eating high in salt foods, but there are alternatives that provide them with a choice. Perhaps George W. would be proud of your attempt at dictating what is best for the public.

It truly pisses me off that they play this off like they are concerned with the public's health, yet there is no universal health care! They are not paying the costs of any negative effects that might be caused by increased salt consumption. Perhaps if the government paid for your health care, then they might have more of a responsibility to require healthier foods, but until then, there is absolutely no reason why they should restrict the ability of people to choose what foods to eat, and weather they want to eat healthier or not.

The article does not mention how old the home owner was, but the story is that there is a group of people posing as ConEd workers trying to gain access into homes in Staten Island.

This is complete bullshit. The home owner did not take the time to communicate with the person who answered the door. I believe that this was just an agent for one of the energy supplier companies, that do have agents that go from door to door to sign you up, so that they can lower your ConEd bill. I had one come to my door several months ago, and I switched to them. I have not really seen any savings, and am thinking of going back to ConEd completely, or finding another energy supplier.

"She said 'I'm from Con Ed and I'm trying to save you money on your rates,'" Chris Ditoro said.

I think that the person was not understood correctly. ConED would not send someone to your home to lower your rates, BUT a energy supply company would send an agent to your home to lower your ConEd bill.

Then the homeowner noticed a car with two strangers inside parked across the street.

"I realized this didn't seem right. The ID didn't seem like a Con Ed ID. She flashed it very quickly, something wasn't right about it," Ditoro said.

The home owner appears more paranoid then alert. At any given time anywhere in this city, there could be a car parked across the street from someones home with people who are unknown. There are over 3 million people in this city. This could have either just been a coincidence, or perhaps they were her transportation. The article did not mention if she left with them, just that the car was gone when she left. This could just have been coincidence. They were already in the car, how long are would they be sitting idling in the car with out leaving?

I do encourage everyone to be vigillant, and not to let people into there home if they did not call them to there home. You can speak with unsolicited visitors through the door, or outside the front door. Most large companies like ConEd, Verizon, National Grid, etc. have employee ID cards that they can show for proof of ID. Some smaller companies may not have employee ID cards. If you are concerned, contact the company that they are representing and verify that someone from the company needs access to your home.

DTV delays

Let's be honest with the public. The switch has to do with the auctioning of the spectrum to AT&T and Verizon for LOTS of money, and the spectrum will be used for 4G cellular technologies. Some may be set aside for public saftey, but for the most part, the old TV spectrum is going to be used for commercial purposes, and 4G wireless networks.

We have plenty of time to evolve....

If you want your child support payments, your going to have to pay

While I am sure that there are many gold diggers out there who do not need the financial support that child support provides, there are many who rely on those payments for the most essential of things, like food, rent, and clothing.

I think that the financial situation should be resolved peacefully outside of the courtroom, however I do understand that there are times where this is not possible, and the court must get involved to ensure payments.

NY however is charging $25 for every $500 collected, from the RECIPIENT of the child support. This is unacceptable. Yes there is likely administrative costs associated with handling the payments, and no as a tax payer I should not be responsible to pay the bill, but neither should the recipient! The person making the payments should be responsible for making any payments for any administrative costs involved with the collection, and distribution, as well as the enforcement of any such payments. These administrative payments could be collected in several ways. They could be collected monthly, quarterly, or annually, but the financial responsibility should fall on the PAYEE. The fee should not exceed the actual costs for the administration of such payments, plus a small fee that would assist in costs associated with enforcement.

The amount of the child support payments should be reviewed on an annual basis, or when ever a major economic change effects one of the parties involved. The payment should be no more then a certain percentage of the payee's income, but at the same time, if the recipient is more financially secure then the payee, then that should also work to lower the burden on the payee.

Obama is reversing some of the Bush policies on climate change.

First of all "man-made" climate change is complete bullshit! Secondly, he is allowing states to impose higher emission standards on vehicles then allowed by national law. Not only this, but he is also requiring that car companies produce more fuel efficient cars within the next 18 months.

The harsher laws are supposedly to combat the effects of climate change. How are you to effect climate change by harsher vehicle emission laws, when climate change is caused by sun spots, and water vapor in the upper atmosphere. They are also intended to reduce our dependency on foreign oil. There is a solution to reduce our dependency on foreign oil, and that is to use the oil that we have here in our own country, mostly in Alaska and Texas.

Harsher emission laws are going to force people who have older cars to purchace newer cars, as the older cars will not pass emissions controls at some point in the future. This will increase the demand for new car purchases, which should be a consumers decision, they should not be forced to purchace a new car if they do not feel the need, or if they can not afford to. This will also increase the pressure on the car manufacturers. They will have to spend more money on R&D to develop more fuel efficient engines. The fuel efficient engines will not produce the same power as current engines, and will cost the automakers more money. This will result in cutting the workforce to cut overhead, as well as find other areas to reduce the cost of manufacturing the vehicle. So you will end up with a cheaper quality car, for a higher cost.

Shared cab rides?

OK, this sounds like a feasible idea. It should hopefully reduce the required amount of cabs on the city streets. It has the potential to increase the amount of money drivers make, while reducing the amount of gas being used for transporting the same amount of people. And there are sure to be many other benefits to a program like this.

However, what about people who are together? Will they be charged per passenger? As it is now, as long as your group of people fit into one taxi, you pay one fee regardless of how many people are in the cab. Also, what happens when you and a friend get into a cab, and make 2 drop offs. Currently, if you share a cab with a friend(s) and you travel to multiple destinations the fee is the same. Unless clarified, these people could be charged per person, or charged a higher rate for sharing a cab.

While the idea on the surface sounds good for the drivers, congestion, reduction of fuel consumption, etc. unless certain things are not addressed this has the potential to cause problems for those who use taxi's to get around the city.

It is good to see that Ford has not come forward for any stimulus money, but I think the CEO's motivation is a little more sinister then he would like to project publicly.

Am I the only one who remembers that Ford's CEO publicly stated that if Ford took any stimulus money that he would work for $1 a year? Seems like motivation to not borrow any stimulus money by any means necessary, regardless of the outcome for the employees, or company. Any negative effects could be blamed on the poor economy, and he could wipe his hands of any blame or responsibility.

Do not get me wrong, I completely disagree with the government bailing out private companies. Companies should fail or succeed on there own. The government take over of corporations equates to communism in my mind.

Arested for overdue library book worth $13.95

Wow, what a waste of taxpayers money, and huge waste of time.

For failing to return a book to the library that is only worth $13.95, after failing to return repeated telephone calls, and letters by mail, the Iowa police even visited this lady in September before finally filing criminal charges against the woman for theft. The lady was released in a $250 bond. Bonds are typicality returned once the court case is settled. I assume that this case will be dismissed, or she will be provided with a conditional release. The taxpayers of Iowa will have to foot the bill, for the book, the unturned telephone calls, the mail, the police officers salary, and gas for his vehicle to visit her home, the court fees, the salary for the judge, DA and public defender.

So, while attempting to send a strong message to those who do not return library books in Iowa, it appears that they will be costing the taxpayers at least several hundred, to possibly several thousands of dollars.

Sometimes its better to just write things like this off. You should have some kind of minimum threshold to peruse legal charges against someone. Something a little more realistic, like say $50 - $100 minimum loss before taking such drastic action.

$78,000 for an engagement ring! Can you believe that? that's more then most people make in a year. Even more then some people make in 2 or 3 years! The city only charged $1000 for there service, meaning that the city taxpayers will likely have to absorb most of the costs in repairing what was damaged while looking for this bitches ring. The plumber bill came up to $5200. For whatever reason these rich people actually had some common sense and tipped the plumbers who found the ring $400 each, and $200 for a worker at the restaurant who stayed late. Most rich people are cheap when it comes to gratuities and tips, so I doubt it was something that they did willingly. Perhaps there gesture of kindness was an attempt to keep the restaurant from looking to send these people a bill when the repairs for the bathroom that was jack-hammered when it comes in. I doubt Mr. Rooter repairs the concrete flooring and tile work. They will likely have to get a GC for that repair work. Expect to see at least another $2-3000 added on to that bill for the repairs to be completed, inside the restaurant, not to mention the road work repairs for repairing the street, and city sewer.

The moral of the story: No pussy is worth $78,000, and also, never give a bitch anything too valuable, because she will just lose that shit or something. If she did not earn the money to purchace it on her own, she will never respect the sacrifice and cost of anything that you provide for her.

Shit, if the ring cost that much, how much is the wedding going to cost? Not many weddings even cost that much.

Coach a HS team... get charged for murder

A coach for a HS football team is being charged with reckless homicide because a player collapsed during a practice session, and eventually died 3 days later.

I can not see how this is the coaches fault. The coaches job is to motivate, and push his players and team to be the best that they can be. If this player felt any signs of fatigue, injury, or illness then it was his responsibility to notify the coach, or to take some time to recover. If the player did not show any indication that his health was at risk, or he did not feel that his health was at risk, then how is the coach to know this.

If the DA is successful in prosecuting the coach, or even if he is not, but a civil suit is successful in placing any of the blame on the coach, or school then the repercussions for all school sporting events will be great. What school would be willing to risk the potential liability of being responsible for any injury or death that might occur due to there sporting programs? What person in there right mind would be willing to become a coach if they may be criminally prosecuted for any injury or death that occurs?

I do not wish to place blame on the victim, however the victim in this case is the coach. The player who died pushed himself beyond his own physical abilities. This is not the fault of anyone other then the player who died.

Even if a school does not end there sporting events, and even if they are able to find someone to coach there teams, if this man is found guilty, the sporting events will suffer. Players will not be motivated, and pushed to there greatest potential, and will actually be encouraged to take it easy.

I am not much of a sports fan, but many people take sporting events very seriously, and the outcome of this will just make school sporting events boring, and non-competitive. And if school sporting events become boring and non-competitive our future professional athletes will also suffer from lack of discipline and drive.

There is no need to re-enforce the stereotype of Chinese drivers, they seem to do a good enough job at that them self.

The driver told police he thought he left the van in park when he got out to make a delivery. But the van rolled backward, jumped a curb on East Broadway and plowed into the preschoolers.

First of all, initial reports claim the driver was making a U-turn. I do not know how a van would end up on the side walk, regardless if it jumped into gear, if it was parallel parked at the curb or double parked. The logical outcome for a situation like that would be for the van to crash into another vehicle. Secondly, how can you not know the difference between park and reverse? And lastly, if you are making a delivery in NYC, why in the fuck would you leave your car on and running, yet alone leave the keys in it? Only a completely irresponsible idiot would do such a thing in NY. It only takes a second for some one to jump in and steal it, or in this case for tragedy to happen.

This does not indicate if these fatalities and injuries are a result of motor vehicles or other causes. This is an important factor that is omitted. In the context it would be assumed that they are referring to automobile incidents. If that is the case, then it only perpetuates the stereotype even further.

Banning trucks and buses would no nothing to prevent an incident like this. First off, it was a VAN that jumped the curb, and hit those children not a truck. So the legislators should have stated commercial traffic and buses. However, even if they meant commercial traffic and buses, this still would not resolve the issues, because this van was making a delivery on this block and commercial vehicles are allowed on streets where they are making local deliveries, even if they are normally prohibited from driving along that street. Speed bumps would have little to no effect on traffic in china town, perhaps these people have never been in a car in china town, you are lucky if you get one block after the traffic light changes 3 times, so speed is not a factor. Over crowded streets and poor drivers are the problem. Reducing the roads where commercial vehicles can drive on only creates more traffic on the little streets that they are still permitted to drive on. Things need to get delivered, and service and maintenance workers need to make there repairs and installations. We need to open up more road ways where commercial traffic can drive on in NYC to relieve some of the traffic problems.

I believe that I bitched, or blogged about this in the past, but it is back in the news again. Albany wants to impose an employment tax to subsidize the MTA. I say fuck that! I do not use buses or the subway system, why should I pay for it? In fact bus drivers piss me off, and I can say that I truly hate them. Here is a thought: Fine bus drivers for impeding the flow of traffic when they do not pull into a bus stop to load or unload passengers when the bus stop is not blocked by someone illegally parked. You can also fine all of the buses that block the intersection when the light changes, and who go through red lights, or disobey traffic laws. These fines can be used to subsidize the MTA's budget. Also fines for parking in a bus stop should be at least partially provided to the MTA. With all of these fines, and the ad revenue that the MTA makes it should have more then enough money, if not raise the fares for the people who use the system, and stop tring to get all the rest of us to pay for something that we have no use for!!

Another thing, the article once again brings up the possibility of charging a toll for all of the bridges entering into manhattan. This is a horrible idea. First, the bridges have been there for a very long time, and are paid for. Second, if a toll is collected for crossing a bridge the money should be used to maintain the bridge, not something else like the buses and trains. Third, this is just another way to try to bring congestion pricing back to the table. Congestion pricing is a terrible idea. This may reduce some of the traffic for those who drive through Manhattan to avoid the tolls of the Triboro bridge, or other bridges linking Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island with the Bronx, and the rest of the state, but those people would just crowd the already crowded highways in Brooklyn and Queens, such as the BQE. A nice consession for all of those people would be to provide free passage at one or more brigde that is linking the Bronx to those of us in Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island, if you feel the need to start charging people a congestion price, or to toll the East River brigdes. We do not want the added traffic on the BQE that these congestion pricing, or tolls will create.

I also do not believe that those who drive into work in Manhattan that do not need to, and may begin taking public transportation when a plan like this becomes effective have been taken into consideration. This would cause an increase in demand for more service from the MTA, resulting in them needing even more money to upgrade and maintain service. It's a lose-lose situation, regardless of the angle at which you look at it.

Instead of tring to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, as congestion pricing is attempting to do, you need to isolate each trouble, and attempt to resolve each issue individually. The amount of cars, and traffic is enormus. This is the most famous, and important city in the world, so you will never eliminate the problem completely, but there may be steps that can reduce the amount of traffic and gridlock in the city. Adjusting traffic patterns, hiring more traffic agents to monitor, and control more intersections at problem locations, timing traffic lights more effeciently, opening the FDR to commercial traffic and/or adding an elevated roadway or highway to accomidate commercial traffic, either over the FDR or west side. Most of the traffic in Manhattan comes from commercial vehicles and taxis. Taxis are passanger cars, and can travel on any roads in the city, but restricting commercial vehicles to be required to only drive along streets, and not have a highway to aleviate some of the congestion is a major flaw of this city. Only building a highway that includes commercial traffic is worthy of adding an employment tax, anything else needs to find funds elsewhere.

Before I get into my opinion on the linked article, a little explanation of the articles title for those unfamiliar with Jewish people. They can not spell out the word god. They can only write it as G_D or G-D.....

A rabbi participated in an inter-faith ceremony at a church in honor of Obama becoming president. He was chastised by those higher up, because Jewish law says that Jews can not enter into the church or temple of another religion. This is completely ridiculous! While all organized religion is pretty much a sham, the reasons that people turn to religion are prestigious, and righteous. We should all be able to hold each others hand, regardless of religious belief, or lack of religious belief, and pray, or hope for a better future for all mankind.

As a non-jew, I have entered many times into synagoges in the course of my job. While I can understand that they may want to prevent jewish people from worshiping at a competing religion's church or temple, there should not be a restriction on simply entering there place of worship.

This guy is 21 years old, and just now is coming out claiming that he was molested as a child, starting when he was years old.

Normally I would take a story like this for face value, and assume the possibility of the events occurring as he claims potentially happened. The problem with that in this story is that this happened in a camp ground, and even after the initial abuse this guy continued to return year after year to this camp. I could understand a child not understanding what was happening to them, or to be embarrassed or scared to tell anyone, because they might think it reflected bad on them, or that they somehow felt responsible, however I can not accept that this occurred and he willingly continued to attend this camp.


The "don't ask, don't tell" policy has not yet been rescinded that I am aware of. Therefore he is telling that he had a sexual relationship with another male, and is therefore a fagot. He should be provided a general discharge from the Coast Guard.

Aside from the fact that despite these allegations occurring, year after year he returned to the same camp, he is filing law suits against everyone.

"Cory was playing tennis one day and said he was thirsty and the guy said, 'I have some soda in my bunk, come with me,'" Legnetti's mother, Mary, told The Daily News. "That's how it started. And it happened again the next two summers."

Legnetti, who lives in Wantaugh and is stationed in San Diego, "is speaking out now because this guy still has access to kids and doesn't want this to happen to another boy," his mother said.

If your allegations are true and you seriously did not want this to happen to another boy you should have said something 11 years ago!!

The lawsuit also alleges Evans has "sexually molested numerous children."

Evans is also believed to have worked at Camp Chinipaw as recently as last year.

There has been at least 11 years for these other victims to come forward. If there were numerous victims, then surely at least one of them came forward by now?

Camp Chipinaw, which has been hosting campers ages 7 through 17 since 1926, is named in the lawsuit. So is the Connecticut-based Camp America, which allegedly recruited Evans to work at Camp Chipinaw.

I am curious as to why punitive damages are due from Camp Chipinaw AND Camp America. I do not see the alleged perpetrator mentioned as a defendant, when it was clearly the alleged actions of him that are in question.

"Each Defendant knew or should have known that Evans had sexually molested numerous children, and that Evans was a danger to children long before Evans molested plaintiff," the suit states.

Legnetti claims in the suit that both camps "failed to conduct a proper background check on Evans."

What evidence is there that he had previously molested children. I do not see any evidence, or accusation of a past criminal history in this article, and as noted in the following quote he is a school teacher. Surely if he was previously convicted of a sex crime, especially against children, that he would be bared from being able to be a school teacher. Just this fact alone leads me to accept that even had the camp not done a thorough back ground check, it likely would not have shown any past criminal activity that would bar him from working with children.

Evans, who is from Britain, is a middle school teacher at the Donna Klein Jewish Academy in Boca Raton, Fla. He did not return a phone call or respond to an e-mail sent to his school address.

Again, being a school teacher, there could not have been anything in his background that would have prevented him from working at a summer camp, having access and contact with children. Also, not only does this leave at least 11 years of summer camp, but also however many years as a school teacher for another victim to have come forward. If there truly are "numerous children" then surely at least one other victim would have come forward by now. Also, how would the guy that initiated the lawsuit know that there were "numerous children" with out first hand knowledge, therefore he would have a credible witness. He was able to recall this guy's first and last name from 11 years ago when he was 10, so I am sure that he could remember one of the "numerous children"'s name....

If this truly did happen, then I am sorry for the victim. No one should have to go through what you are alleging, however if these are false allegations, or false memories, then you should feel the wrath of the legal system coming down on you.

Humans think that they are more significant then they really are, especially when related to global, and astronomical circumstances. This is proven in history most notably when it was believed that earth was flat. There is nothing on this planet that is unnatural. Everything was always here and will always be here, with the exception of what is deposited here from asteroids, and other space debris, and what is lost, or ejected from our atmosphere. There are no man-made materials, everything comes from nature. Man-altered, perhaps but NO materials on this earth, or anywhere else, are man-made.

Global warming might have been increased, or speed up by man's activities here on this planet, but I do not seem to believe that that is true. There are many factors that affect the temperature of the planet, and "global warming". Sun spots are one of the biggest contributing factors to "global warming". Are we as humans to believe that we are responsible for the conditions on the sun that affect our planet?

Global temperatures have fluctuated the entire life of the planet, with periods of heating and cooling. This is a natural cycle, and will continue regardless if we inhabit this planet or not.

Proof of man-made "global warming" can only be made conclusively if data from other uninhabited planets in our solar system that have an atmosphere is measured and compared to the changes that are occurring on our planet. Yet even that data alone would not be enough to prove the impact man has on the climate of the planet, because no two planets in our solar system are identical, and therefore surface activity, and sub-surface activity would also be a factor in the effects of the global climate.

A judge in Illinois has ordered a guy who has TB to be required to wear a GPS tracking bracelet. This person did not commit any crimes. He is only guilty of becoming infected with TB. I did not know that being sick was a crime.

Is this not America? Are we not supposedly a FREE society?

If he violates the judges orders, then he will be charged with a class A misdemeanor. I do not know the law codes in Ill, but if they are anything like NY, then class A would be the highest level, meaning that it is basically just below a felony.

Who is supposed to pay this persons bills, since not being charged with any crime, he is restricted to where ever the GPS monitoring bracelet will allow him to go, and therefore unable to work, or make his own income.

There has got to be other ways to prevent the spread of TB then to force this person to not be able to leave his home. While he was in court he wore a face mask, so obviously it is safe for him to be out in public areas if he wears a face mask. So at most he should be required to wear something medically approved to help in the prevention of the spread of TB when out in public.

If things like this are allowed to continue, where does it end? What is to stop "them" from restricting where cancer patients can go? What is to prevent them from forcing you into isolation if you get a cold, or the flu? Who makes the decisions on who needs to remain isolated, or what sicknesses, or diseases are to be treated in the same manner? If this person was truly a threat to the public's health, then I find it difficult to believe that he is being treated at home, and not in a hospital.

Now if this man, or anyone else for that matter, was to intentionally attempt to spread his illness, then he should be criminally prosecuted. However if his intentions are not to cause illness to others, and he is taking the required precautions, as recommended by a doctor then there is no reason to bring criminal charges against him, or subject him to court ordered GPS monitoring.

Look, I do not promote the taking of anyone's life. The thing is that the linked article by the NY Daily News is more of an editorial then reporting of facts. Sure the facts are in there, but very highly opinionated.

I admit I crack a smile when one of the NWO's enforcers are taken down, but I do have empathy for his family.

The article attempts to vilify and slander the jury foreman by implying that he basically sees no difference between the police and criminals.

Somehow, a jury whose foreman speaks of cops and criminals in the same breath had acquitted Robert Ellis a month ago of murder and attempted murder while convicting him of three counts of weapons possession.

Then the article goes on to insult the judges interpretation of the law, and sentence.

OK, so this chick had a restraining order against her "baby daddy", (let's get it right the article says "ex-boyfriend, but seriously they had an 11 year old girl) and he ends up killing her. That's some fucked up shit, BUT... these people want to make it more difficult for a man to be a good father to his child.

They are petitioning to toughen the laws for those who violate orders of protection. That in itself may not be such a bad thing, although I would need some point of reference as to what the punishment currently is, they are looking for the punishment to be 3-5 years in prision. I believe this to be harsh for most cases. Either a probation sentence of no more than 3-5 years, or 6 months to a year jail time should be plenty, for first time violators, but also dependent upon the level of violence history, and circumstances surrounding the order of protection.

The fucked up part, that made me want to blog about this news story is that they want to restrict child visitation in cases involving domestic abuse. Now I do not think that it is right to beat on a bitch or anything like that, but tempers flare, and each situation is diffrent. Each situation needs the circumstances to be evaluated to make an educated decision. But unless the domestic violence was directed towards the children in any way (in which case it would become endangering the welfare of a minor, or child abuse etc.) then there should not be any restrictions on a man who is only trying to be a father to his child(ren).

The other fucked up thing is these fucking feminnazi's "women's rights groups". First of all if you want equal rights, let me tell you, there are bitches who are abusive to there husbands just as well. So there is your equal rights, so where is the "rights groups" for those men? You know, I am sorry that this guy was an asshole, and shot his "baby momma" in front of his child, but the fact remains, this guy was fucking nuts, and murder has got to have the highest penalty in the judicial system, so another 3-5 years was not going to deter this person from taking this woman's life. They claim she would still be alive if he had faced penalties earlier. If that was the case two things should have happened for him to face those penalties. First he would have had to violated the order of protection, secondly, she or someone who witnessed him violating the order of protection needed to file a police report.

The article claims that he did not care about the order of protection and continued to come around. First off, perhaps this woman encouraged him to continue to come around, we do not know the circumstances, sometimes people think they can work things out after they already filed an order of protection. Secondly, what was the circumstances for him to come around. Was he harassing or threatening this woman, or was he trying to be a part of his child's life? And finally, did anyone ever report these violations to the police department? If these violations were reported to the police department, then they failed to do there job and keep him away from her. But if no one ever reported it, then there is no record of him ever violating the order of protection, and therefore just the family's word that he had. Clearly if he had violated the order of protection and it was brought to the attention of the police they would have taken some sort of action.

How to deal with the phedz...

Some people just do not understand how to deal with the phedz, or law enforcement....

While law enforcement is one of the lowest forms of life on the earth, someone who feels that they have the authority to pass judgment on another person and there actions, some people just do not understand how they operate, and how to deal with them.

While there are certain things that I will hold back on, as If I ever have the need to use some of the methods they will not be as easily identifiable with my actions.

First off, always make every attempt to be respectable in your communications with the phedz. Try not to act like an asshole, or give them any reason to add resisting arrest, assault of a law enforcement officer, impeding a law enforcement investigation, or any other retarded charges like that to whatever else it might be that they are attempting to pin on you.

First, I do not endorse, or encourage anyone to take any illegal actions. If you must, please only do the minimum of illegal activities that is required to obtain your goal. Try to keep any illegal activities away from your home, or any communications medium that can be traced back to you, such as cell phone, home phone, computer, PDA, etc... Never discuss any of your illegal activities with anyone who does not need to know about them, even those who do need to know, share as little info as possible. Sometimes you may want to brag about your sucesses, this is a bad idea.

When confronted as either a suspect, person of intrest, or for any other reason, remember that law enforcement will pretend to act like your friend. They are not your friend! They are doing there job, and there job is to "get you off the streets". Tell them your name and where you live if they ask. You may feel the need to communicate some "small talk" with them about seemingly unrelated topics. Regardless if you are sitting in that interview chair, they are always "on" listening to every word that you say, even in idle conversation, in fact, the idle conversation is where you feel your guard is down, and they may attempt to lead the conversation to get you to slip up. Never discuss anything with them. Speak to law enforcement only thru a lawyer. Deny everything, and remain silent. You have that right you know. If you are required to communicate with them a lawyer will inform you what you are required to communicate with them.

Even if you are not the "prime suspect" of there investigation, don't say shit! Tell everyone around you, friends, faimly members, co-workers to not say shit to the phedz... they will attempt to work there small talk mostly with those around you who you may have "confessed" your illegal actions, or who may have been witness to these alleged crimes.

Keep no evidence in your home. Keep your computer free of any evidence, or illegal activities. Keep your PDA, and other portable electronic devices "clean"

Cell phones can be tracked even when you are not on the phone, many have GPS, but even the ones that do not they can triangulate the signal. Never bring your cell phone with you in the commision of a crime. It is also alleged that the phedz can turn on the mic of a cell phone to listen in even when the phone is not in use, and even if the phone is off. Remove the battery of your cell phone if you have to bring it with you, and remove it any time you need to have a sensitive conversation.

OnStar is a tracking device. If you have OnStar, remove it from your car, there are websites that tell you how to accomplish this. There are other similar systems such as LoJack, not only can they be used to track the car if it has been stolen, but they can track your movements.

While thinking about never using EZpass, it does not matter if you have EZpass or not, all toll crossings have video cameras, and likely have licence plate readers, so try to avoid any toll booths.

If using pubilc transportation, do not purchace rides with a credit card. Do not purchace metrocards with a credit card!!! Only purchace single ride fares, and pay cash. Once beyond the turnstyle dispose of the paper metro card as soon as possible. Having the metro card or single ride card on you will allow them to track when and where you entered the transit system, and they can track your movements.

Make efforts to avoid video survallance, especially police owned cameras on the streets. Private cameras should also be avioded as much as possible, but require a seobpena to be released to the police, so they may either fail to obtain the video, or obtaining the video may be delayed. Police owned cameras will be available to the phedz in real time....

Always use a "clean" PC from a "clean" location when communicating on the internet. Use public hotspots, and use a proxy server, also never use a PC that you have used the WiFi card, or PC on your home network. Replace this PC if you have to, if the evidence with connecting this PC to you is so strong. Never name your PCs with something that can be tied to you. Never add any personally identifiable information to this PC. Never access your normal email address with this PC, and Never use the same internet browsing habits with this PC that you do at home. Never use hotspots near your home, school, or work place.

Always communicate from a pre-paid cell paid for in cash, that is not connected to you in any way. Keep the SIM card out of the phone when charging the battery, and keep the battery out of the phone when not making a call. Do not keep this phone for long periods of time. Do not replace this phone from the same location where you purchaced it when it has outused its useful life. You may also use payphones to communicate, but try not to use the same pay phone frequently, or they may begin to monitor that phone. Do not use a payphone, or prepaid phone anywhere near your home, school or workplace.

The most important thing, that I must repeat tho, is never admit guilt to anything, do not talk, do not make any attempt to communicate with the phedz at all. They are not your friend. A lawyer can advise you of what you are required to tell them, but always stick to the bare minimum. You do not want to incriminate yourself any further then any evidence that they might already have.

Fingerprints... violation of privacy

I never associated fingerprints, or the police using fingerprints to be a violation of ones personal rights. However reading the article in the link above, it just sickens me what science is doing... We are not going further, they are looking for more and more ways to monitor and track us.

I hate working with gloves on, even when for safety reasons I should wear gloves for certain functions, I just can not work comfortable with them on my hands. I do not feel like I have a good enough grip.

Reading what they are doing with this technology makes me want to shave off all of my body hair, and wear rubber gloves and a hazmat suit everywhere I go, as to not leave any biological evidence that I ever was anywhere. Yes I know that is taking it extreme, and I was kidding (to a degree) but seriously, the potential for this technology to not only be used by law enforcement, but also could be commercially available, meaning it could be used by anyone.

Who provides the permission to perform medical tests on my biological debris? While someone might say, the sample was left behind, and therefore discarded, and may be used by who ever finds it, I must disagree. If I leave my key to my home somewhere, does that give someone who finds those keys the right to enter into my home uninvited?

Any biological, or medical testing done should be done with the consent and knowledge of the person who is the subject of the testing.

I think that fingerprinting, as being done currently for law enforcement purposes should be allowed. Using finger prints to identify a person being at a location, or handling an object. But performing medical testing on such sample should not be allowed, with out the consent of whoever "owns" those fingerprints.

The potential for abuse of this technology far outweighs the benefits that it might have. The only potential benefit that this technology might have is in the medical field, to reduce invasive testing procedures. And to be performed with the consent of the testing subject.

It has come to my attention, that the pig who shoved his baton up the ass of some guy on the subway system had been accused of police brutality just one year ago. What puzzles me about this previous accusation, which I will need to look into further, is that they found no evidence of wrong doing, however they still settled a lawsuit with the victim. Now answer this to me, if you did not do anything wrong, then where is your finincial responsibility to ccompensate a victim? If there was no wrong doing, then there was no victim, and therefore should be no settlement. The previous settlement over the acctions of this officer indicate an admission of wrong doing, and therefore he should have been removed from a position where he had the potential to abuse the authority provided to him.

So I am starting to think more and more every day that voting makes absolutely no difference at all at least not in NY.

First we have a governor who was appointed, because Spitzer fucked up. In this article linked above it also mentions that the states chief fiscal officer DiNapoli also was given his position by default, replacing Hevesi.

Now we are going to get a senator appointed by the governor, who was never even elected into his position. Why? because one of our senators, who never lived a day in her life in NY until she ran for office is leaving to take a position appointed by the president elect.

With all of these people being appointed, and even more disturbing, being appointed by others who were them self appointed where is the democracy in that?

Granted In the past, I have only voted for president, and not on the local level, but that was because at the time, I was not too aware of the players in local and state politics.

I thought when I was in school they taught us a chain-of-command in politics, where as there was always someone in line to to move up one position should it be needed. I was unaware that that was only for the position of president.

There should be a chain-of command structure, if it is not already, but judging by the fact that the governor must choose the next senator it does not appear to be so. The reason for this is that even though a person may get a position by default, at least the people voted for him, and were aware of the circumstances. Everyone understands if something happens to the president, the VP takes over as president, why can it not be so simple for other positions, such as on the state wide level?

Here we are pushing our flavor of government, and democracy around the world to Muslim countries, who believe that there leaders are appointed by Allah (so you tell me how democracy will work), and in the mean time, we are living in a dictatorship.

Schools are being renamed after Barack Obama, and they even want to rename mountains, etc. after Obama.

Is it not a little too early for this? Yes it is historical that Obama has been the first black president elected in the US, but as to if he will be a good leader remains to be seen, he has not yet taken office.

How would it have been if we were to name things after George W. Bush before he took office, only afterwards to find out the kind of leader that he has become?

Renaming ceremonies should occur only after the president leaves office, but IMO should not occur until after the person's passing. I do not believe that something should be renamed after someone while they are still alive. The renaming of a building, school, or anything else should be used to immortalize the persons name and there place in history AFTER there life, and accomplishments.

Auto industry bail out?

I knew that another industry was going to go to the government looking for free money. It was the Auto industry, my bad I thought It would be the telecommunications companies, but there day will come....

So Here is a thought... Why doesn't the government (city, state, and federal) stop buying all of these piece of shit foreign hybrid Toyota Prius'es and get back to buying only American cars?

It pisses me off when I see official licence plates on a foreign car like a Prius. What ever happened to the days where if you saw a government owned vehicle it was made in America by Ford or Chevy.

Perhaps if they stoped buying from these foreign companies the auto industry would not be in such bad shape. Sure it would still be struggling, but fleet purchases can produce a lot of revenue.

I am also not afraid to say this, but NAFTA and free trade is what started the downfall of the economy. When you outsource our jobs, sure some fuck in a backwards country gets a job. Sure the company can save money on salary, because third world employees make less a week then an American makes in an hour. Sure the company can increase there revenue, and stock prices by lowering overhead costs. Sure the cost of the product will drop, making the product accessible to more consumers. Wait, heres where it starts to get better, Sure the quality of your product will go to shit, because of inferior labor and materials. Sure Americans who's job was outsourced will remain on unemployment, because no new jobs are being created here, but more jobs are being lost every day. Now regardless of how cheap your product is made your consumer base will drop substantially, requiring you to make your product even cheaper. Resulting in escalating returns for defective products. Resulting in failing stock prices.... and a whole country out of work, with some resorting to criminal activities just to survive...

So, should the automakers be bailed out? Only if a stipulation of the bail out is that it be used to secure American jobs, and only if all the companies vehicles that are sold in the US are made in the US. I stop at the point requiring them to produce all of there vehicles in the US for cost saving reasons. They should be permitted to make cars in Mexico, Canada, or some third world country for cars that will be exported, so long as those exported cars are not sold in the US.

For fuck sakes, there are foreign car makers building cars here, but American cars are made somewhere else.

The article said that some kids graffitied the words "kill obama" on some cars. Where is the racism in that? No where in the article was there any mention of any terms used to single out any particular race of people, so it has come down to the fact that if you do not like the president-elect then you are a racist!

If that is the case, can we call people who hate president Bush, who are of a diffrent nationality or race then he is, racist? I do not think so. Ever since there have been presidents, there have been people who supported, and people who opposed them.

Is there the possibilities that those comments were motivated by racism? Yes, that possibility does exist. But does the possibility that those comments were motivated by something other then race? The answer to that is also yes, and until further details of the circumstances are revealed, I think that it is irresponsible journalism, and law enforcement to immediately judge that these crimes (vandalism) were motivated by racism until all of the facts have been presented.

Obama is not the first president to have death threats, nor will he be the last, unless our government collapses and there are no presidents after him...

I did not vote in this past election, because there was an issue with my voter registration being placed into inactive status, I assume since I moved several years ago and never updated my voter registration. And I did not feel like fighting with a 100 year old pole worker for a provisional ballot. Most likely at the time I would have voted for Obama, however now looking at some of the policies that he wants to put in place, if I were to have voted, Ralph Nader would have taken my vote once again (although I did not follow his recent campaign, so I do not know his current standpoint on the issues)

What I think that the problem is, is that the city government, (as well as state and federal) have money invested in private companies and banks, which should NEVER happen. The government, on any level (city, state, fed) should never have an interest in the finances of private companies. Government money should be separate from the private sector, specifically for this reason. Yes, they stand to "lose" the potential to increase there revenue by not being invested in private companies, however government money should be secure.

The economy should have no bearing on the employment of government workers, or the services available from the government.

This douche is going to push workers, and by default employers out of NYC then where is the city going to get money from?

So this kid is 12 years old, and in college. What is the point? There should be regulations against such things. This is depriving the child time of his youth, to develop all the life/social skills that we do during junior high school (intermediate or middle school for some of you mother fuckers), and high school
years. It is not just the books, and tests where we learn. It is also with the social interactions.

This child is going to go thru puberty surrounded by adults, and several things can happen, none really that good. First he will not have any one to relate to as far as what changes his body is going thru. And secondly, he is likely to end up in an inappropriate sexual relationship with another student.

Even if this was the child's choice she was not intelligent enough to realize that a child's mind is not yet fully developed, and does not always make the right decisions for what is best, that is the job of the parent. It becomes even more disturbing when it is revealed that the father committed suicide when this kid was 2 according to the article because he was so smart, and didn't fit in, or cared what people thought of him. Its a stupid reason to kill yourself, and I doubt it is completely accurate, but if that is the case, pushing you child in this way is only going to make him more likely to follow his fathers footsteps. But I forgot, the article says the child has "thick skin". Well, suicidal thoughts normally take some time to develop, and if the lady's husband was able to pull it off with out the wife being suspicious then what chance does she have at seeing her child's signs of suicidal thoughts?

We are insignificant when it comes to global, and astronomical circumstances. EVERYTHING on this planet is natural. Even man-made materials are made from nature. There is no more, or no less of ANYTHING on this planet (aside from any debris from space) then when this planet was created, and when we are all extinct, the planet will heal itself of any signs of our existence.

The fucking things that you read on the internet... especially things that are linked in on the front page of yahoo.. who the fuck thinks these things up? This article that I read is so fucking unbelievable, and its in some kind of list format, that I am going to have to do things a little diffrent then normal and cut and paste parts of the article here, with my comments for each section... I guess my comments will be in red... I'll Just post the whole list, with there comments, then mine in red below... to save time, you can just read my comments if you want....

2. Your inkling that something is wrong in the relationship is probably right. And it should not be the end of the world now either, everyone does not want to be smothered by someone, people need there personal space, you had it right with #1, then this contradiction. But now that communication is so easy and instant, it's usually a sign he's not fully invested.
   "When a guy wants to break up, he'll often start to create space," says Oikle. In other words, he'll stop calling quite as much, it will take him a bit longer to return your texts or emails, and he'll sometimes be "too busy" to hang out. Sometimes a guy cheats on his partner because there is an emotional or physical void in the relationship. But more often than not, philandering is indicative of something wrong with him. Not really, unless having a dick is something wrong with him. Dudes just want to fuck something diffrent from time to time, some are just better at resisting the temptations then others. I just don't understand this world. Pregnancy discrimination for fuck sake? If I own a business where I have to hire employees, I would want employees who are able to do the job physically, and consistently. I would want someone that is going to be reliable, dependable, and able to work more then just a few weeks, or months. A pregnant chick fulfills none of these requirements.

I am not saying that if a chick becomes pregnant while employed that she should be fired, unless of course she becomes unreliable, or unable to perform her work duties, just as any non-pregnant employee would be. Now I am sure a bunch of bitches will flip out about that comment, but seriously, it would be discrimination NOT to fire an employee who was unable to perform there work duties. If you can not perform your duties at work, you should take your leave of absence, or maternity leave or whatever the fuck you do.

As for hiring someone who is pregnant... Who the fuck goes out looking for a job AFTER they are pregnant? She should have had a job, or not been fucking with out protection. The only reason that I can see someone do this is to try to stick it to there employer for health benefits. Seriously, how long can they work before they are on leave, a few weeks? A few months? and this is the career that they have been dreaming about that they are going to just rush back to work after giving birth?

Feel uncomfortable being video taped everywhere you go?

Now you have something new to look forward to... airport scanners that can read your body language, and polygraph you with nothing more then 2 cameras and some sensors... no wires needed...

If this contraption flags you, then you have the pleasure of being interviewed in front of a camera that will detect if you are lying..

First it sounds like too much of an invasion of privacy, especially when facial recognition software is no doubt another part of this security system, so that they can keep a profile of you in there systems, and track your movements...

And secondly, it seems like it is putting too much of our security into machines. These machines have to cost a shit load of money, and ANY computer system can be tricked...

This is going to provide A LOT of FALSE POSITIVES, and most likely will not effectively stop anyone, as I am sure there will be much "test runs" by those wanting to learn how to beat the machine.

It is also going to make the screeners less vigilante in there job, as they will let the machine pick the people to interview.

The money for screening will go to this new sophisticated equiptment, and the salary of the screeners will actually go down, as they will need less training, just training on how to use the machine, and trust its judgment...

A better alternitive would be to provide better training, and resources to the screeners in order for them to do a more effective and efficient job. And to provide them with better pay, and benifits. A well trained and experienced person is more effective than any machine.

Why are we the only ones responsible enough to enrich uranium for nuclear power, or the only ones that are able to stockpile nuclear weapons?

We should not attempt to stop countries from seeking to use nuclear power. While there may be dangers involved with accidents, we should instead work with other countries so that they can safely produce nuclear power, which is green power for all you pussy environ-mental people.. but it is also renewable, and cheap power...

If we all work together to share the technologies that we have instead of trying to limit certain technologies only to US and our friends, then there will always be tension between countries, and wars..

A killer cop had his sentence overturned... Wow... if this guy was not a cop do you think that the decision would be overturned??

The article states that the person who was killed was fighting over a parking spot with the pigs father, when the guy grabbed a baseball bat and smacked his father with it several times... granted this is assault with a deadly weapon, but the pig, I assume off duty at the time, shot the guy in the head while the bat was still in the guys hand....

First off, the article says the bat was still in the guys hand, not that the guy continued to strike the pigs father...

Secondly, the article lacks info on if the guy was hitting the pigs father in the head or body, which is very important information that is missing. If he was swinging at the head, then it could be assumed that the fathers life was in mortal danger...

Third, I am sure that just brandishing the gun and announcing yourself as a pig would be enough to have the guy take a step back and put the bat down, if not, then a shot to the knee or other non fatal area would have been enough. The officers life was no way in mortal danger, and the use of deadly force was not justified, and therefore he should spend the remainder of his sentence behind bars, and bent over in front of bubba...

So the government now OWNS AIG insurance... The insurance companies want to install this GPS tracker device into your car to make sure you are a safe driver, and obey speed limits, and traffic laws (and where you are, so they can eventually feed you location based ads, or charge you a higher rate based on where you drive)....
Now, with out the need for a warrant, the government can track your movements... no need for excessive expenses on cameras on highways with license plate reading software (which is at every toll booth, so even with out EZ-pass, your coming and going's are tracked)... they can just tap into your GPS and know where ever you are going, or where ever you have gone... no need for a warrant, because you are there customer, and I am sure that they will require you to sign some type of waiver, hidden deep in the fine print....

Just a nightmarish thought... I will let you get back to what you were doing...

the USA corporation

It seemed for a while that the corporations were controlling the government... but it seems now that the government in itself is becoming one big corporation.

The government just bought AIG insurance.. one of the nations largest insurance companies. Along with there recent take overs of the mortgage companies, it seems like the government is gaining more control thru owning corporations... So why is this a bad idea? Well, you can view my rants about when they took over Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac... but now are they not only in control of who can get a mortgage, and at what rate, they can also control what your insurance premiums are, and what the pay outs will be for insurance claims.

They talk about how they do not want to have "socialized health care" also known as universal health care - a right that should be available to every living being... yet, they take control of these corporations like some sort of communist dictatorship.

Not only are your rising property and sales taxes going to the government, along with fines, surcharges, permit fees, etc... but now the interest on your mortgage, and your insurance premiums are also going to the government...

While you may have had a possibility to be gouged by your previous insurance carrier, or mortgage bank, there were at least some form of checks and balances, the private company's operated under the laws of the government, and the laws supposedly should have provided some sense of consumer protections, while still allowing the companies to make a profit, without gouging the consumer, or operating there business with unfair tactics.

Now that those who write the laws are in control of these companies where is the checks and balances. The same people who regulate these industries, must also make these companies profitable for the government! Do you believe that they will pass legislation that will be favorable to the consumer, or favorable to the governments need for more money to fuel the "war on its citizens".... oops... I meant to say "war on terrorism"

You will forever be indebted to your government, and I would not doubt that in the near future they will criminalize defaulting on your mortgage, or insurance payments. Prisoners equal free, or very cheap labor. They will need lots of free, or very cheap labor to operate the corporate branch of the government!

I wonder what the next corporate purchace of the US government is going to be? Will it be the media? Telecommunications companies? The Automotive industry?

So at first I thought the democrats fucked them self by having the first black and first female candidates run against each other. And the battle was a long one, and did divide the democratic party.

But the democratic party got there shit together, and seem to be all on the same page now. The smart thing is that Obama choose a running mate that was strong in the areas where he was weak... What did the republicans to? They just found any bitch that they could to try to get the Hillary votes away from the democrats.

Umm... choosing a bitch for your running mate is not going to get you any democrat voters... and in fact, looks like that shit may back fire on your ass... Your candidate should be chosen based on what they can bring to your campaign. Just because you picked a chick does not mean that people will vote for your ass... so I amend my previous prediction, and say that the democrats will win the white house...

Now if Bush will give up the white house to the democrats as scheduled is another story.. I am sure that he will find something that warrants the enactment of the presidential order that he passed into law stating that in the event of a national emergency the current administration can remain in power for an undetermined amount of time...

Illegal phone taps

This is old news... but still important none the less....

Almost every telephone company, with the exception of Quest (I believe) allowed illegal wiretapping to be done to there customers under the direction of the FBI and other government agencies, at the order of president bush.

ALL of these companies broke the law... however, since it was at the will of the president, they were all granted retroactive immunity shielding them of any responsibility, or civil suits.

DO NOT TRUST TELEPHONE or INTERNET communications as secure!!! Regardless of the laws, they do not apply to telecommunications providers, when the government tells them to break the law.

Treat every telephone and internet communication as if the government, or telephone company is intercepting your communication.

When you must communicate by telephone and do not want to be entrapped try to do so with pay phones, or disposable prepaid cellular phones... I could provide what I believe to be the most secure method of this, however I can and will not for 2 reasons... first, if I ever need to communicate in this way, the evidence would be posted clearly here for them to locate my communications, and secondly, If I provided a detailed way to do this, It would not work too good, because not only would you have the information, but so would those trying to intercept your communications..

Govermnent ownership of debt

fannie mae and freddie mac have been taken over by the government... supposedly in order to protect us from the current mortgage crisis. Laws and regulations preventing predatory lending practices should have been enacted a long time ago, and adjustable rate mortgages should not be legal.


While the banking industries own the country, and even to some degree control or own the government, they are private companies (or publicly traded, whatever thats not the point)... and as such companies are in business to make money, they should not be taken over by the government when times get tough. This is not a communist country. If a business is in trouble, then that business will be sold, be closed, or go bankrupt. There is no reason for the government to step in and take over control of a private company, regardless of what industry it is in.

It is bad enough that the government charges you property taxes, where if you fail to pay they can seize your property for back taxes. They also have been using eminent domain to steal property from its rightful owners. And in many cases not for public works projects, as should be, but for commercial interests.

Giving the government control over the two major underwriters for most of the mortgages in the country is putting too much power and oversight into the hands of the government.

Now the government is the one who will get to choose if you get a mortgage, and for how much. They will have more information about your personal finances then perhaps you were willing to share with them, more so if you are self employed or work off the books and are not giving your fair share to the IRS.

The worst part of this situation however, in my mind, is now when property is foreclosed on, the government takes ownership of that property. Now they do not need to come up with eminent domain excuses to steal property from under you, all they need to do is adjust the interest rate on your ARM mortgage so that you are unable to afford the monthly payment any longer, and take the property from you.

What would be a better way to resolve this problem? First, as they are private companies, they should work to resolve the financial troubles that there companies face. They could seek to merge the two companies, they could call in all overdue debts owed to them... the government could even offer short term low interest loans to these companies to keep them afloat. The government take over of these companies however, is unamerican, and should NOT ever occur.

Sorry for the absence of posts

I had a video card die on me... and while I have many other computers around the house, they are all set up for special purposes, such as streaming audio/video to all of the TVs around the house... at the same time I was out of the house for about 20 hours a day, working then helping someone rewire there house. So I was unable to post on here.. I have seen many articles that I wanted to vent on here about, but was not able to... hopefully I will be able to get back to at least 2 updates or more per week going forward...

I am getting a little tired of hearing the commercials on the radio..... "Are you overweight? It may not be your fault." "Bad credit? It's not your fault!"

Well when do people get to take responsibilities for there actions?

While there is a small percentage of fat people who are fat because of an existing medical condition, a majority of fat people just eat too much, and are too lazy to get off there ass and do some physical activities. Most fat people have a medical condition BECAUSE they are fat, not the other way around... stop eating so goddamn much, and get off the couch every once and a while and take a walk around the corner, and you won't be such a big fat ass any more...

As for having bad credit... which I have had before... It IS your fault... if you are spending more then you can afford, chances are that you are going to fall on your ass financially, and be in debt, with no way to repay what you owe. Either start learning how to live within the means that your employment pays you, or get a higher paying job, or another job in addition to the job that you have. Yes things are costing more now then they used to... but guess what, the price of things will always go up, and so will the amount of money people are paid... If you are a skilled worker, you can make sure that you are at the top of your field, stay current on what is going on in your industry, and demand the highest wages for your job title.

What is going to be next? "Run a red light and get into a car accident? Its not your fault...." Oppps! I am sorry insurance is provided as "no-fault" so I guess you aren't at fault... and the insurance companies do not like the word accident... they would prefer that you called them collisions, because a collision is avoidable, an accident just happens... not like someone is going to collide with you on purpose, although it has happened before... there are some crazy ass mother fuckers out there...

So people... take responsibilities for your actions... only you can define who you are.

Oh one last note... for the fatties out there... the human body can not digest corn.. but eating it will fill you just as any other food... so it obviously takes more calories to eat then it provides to you... think about it....

Our country is made up of all races, and nationalities. What is the point in discussing where people move from race to race?

So more white people are moving into cities, and less black people are staying, or the percentages are shifting. SO WHAT? What makes this a newsworthy story? What prevents this article from being racist?

Instead of black people moving in and saying "here goes the neighborhood", this article is saying just about the opposite, whites are moving in and you are saying "here comes the neighborhood", which is just as racist.

Businesses need to remain fluid, and dynamic. The article says how stores who once catered to minority needs are seeing there business dwindle, or evaporate completely. Do not blame this on the population around the business changing, blame this instead on the business for failing to have a fluid business plan, that can change to accommodate the needs of the surrounding community.

Is the music industry, movie industry, film developing industry, or any other industry hurt by the advancement of technology able to sit back and blame someone else for there failure to have a fluid business model, to adjust with time, or are they working hard to change the business model to match the needs of the customers?

What is a minority anyways? We live in America. Everyone is here. Everyone is welcome. I do not see colors, or races when I walk down the street, or enter into a business. I do not care if the owner of a business is black, white, asian, or anything else for that matter. All I care about is if the business that I frequent has the products and services that I am seeking, for a fair and reasonable price.

One person with 3 shotguns used for hunting from Staten Island, and a pastor, whose mother brought a gun with her from Florida when she moved up to NY, hardly the street criminals that this program was intended to get guns from.

Also many people complained that it took nearly 2 hours for the guns to be collected from them... perhaps this was so that the covert surveillance teams could gather intel on the people and take photos, run background checks, etc.

The payments were made with pre-paid debit cards, which could be used in stores, or at ATM machines. This is another security risk to the people who handed guns over. Every ATM has a video camera, so anyone withdrawing cash will be videotaped. Anyone using these cards as credit cards should just as well call up the local police station and tell them there location, and what they are buying, because this information will be recorded, and kept on file.

So lets say that you returned one of these guns, and got your gift card. You were photographed while you waited. Your photo was matched up with police records/DMV records, and a background check was run on you. Now if a gun crime occurs near anywhere where you use this gift card you will become the #1 suspect.

I suggest for all those who did participate in this program, the first thing that you should have done was to go to the nearest ATM to the drop off point and withdraw all of the money on the card. - The problem with that tho - most ATMs will charge you a fee, so you will never get your full $200... so what a scam it is indeed....
